Purrfect Pet Cafe: Premier Cat Cafe Experience in Thornhill, ON

This place is so awesome. The cats and Alvin - our host, were so friendly and we just had a great experience. Alvin is so friendly and knowledgeable about the cats, and made our experience soo much better. We got to play with the cats and even give them a couple of treats. We really like trumpet and Lyra and Leon, honestly just all the cats were awesome. This cat cafe is my favourite out of all the ones I’ve been to!

All the cars were super chill. Highly recommend, but watch out for Mango. He's a cheeky one and will steal all the treat Big thanks to the staff who was really friendly and truly love the cars!! They're all taken care of very well!!

I had such an amazing time at this cat café! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendliest and most adorable cats. Each one had its own personality—some playful, some cuddly, and all of them absolutely precious. They were so well taken care of, and you can really feel the love in the space. A special shout-out to the staff member who explained everything about the cats. They were incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. The way they talked about each cat—its story, habits, and personality—showed how much they truly care. It made the whole experience even more heartwarming. If you’re a cat lover (or even if you’re not!), this place is a must-visit. I left with a big smile and a warm heart. Highly recommended!

I’ve been to a handful of cat cafes and I would say that Purrfect Cat Cafe is the best one I’ve been to. The cafe portion and the cat room are both well kept and very clean. All the cats look very healthy and well kept. They were all very energetic. The cat room has strict rules to follow which ensures safety of the cats. The cat room is also very big which allows the cats to roam freely. The staff were very nice and inviting. We got a sparkling lemonade and strawberry matcha latte as part of the package and both drinks were so tasty. We definitely would come back. Our favourite cats were trumpet and mango!

I had the privilege of visiting this cute establishment a few days ago with two good friends of mine, and I wanted to share my thoughts about it. This place is very cute and quaint, the floors were clean, the tables were spotless, and there were cute cat cushions on every chair. The drink menu was well rounded, with the staff member knowing how to make the drinks efficiently, and they were very tasty. We had purchased the "premium" combo, so that included any one drink on the menu and an hour with the cats, and it was only $35 with tax in. It's a pretty good deal, I would say! There were lockers to put your bag or purse in, and safety measures for the cats involved thorough hand washing and little booties to go over your shoes, which the shop provided. Then came the cats, a whole clan of 9! They were healthy, with shiny, sleek coats, bright eyes, and a willingness to play and interact with us. Now, cats being cats, they did all have their different personalities. Some were more than willing to sit at your feet and be petted, others were much more interested when the cat toys were brought out, and others were more content to sit up on the higher perches and lord over the room. The staff member who was the caretaker of the cats, (I believe his name was Alvin? Sorry if I got that wrong!) you could tell that he was very passionate about his job. He was more than happy to tell you all about the cats, their names, origins, personalities and stories about the cats, he had them in spades! His face would light up whenever you asked a question about them, and you could tell that he genuinely cared about his little clan of cats. It was very nice to see! The cats were adorable, of course. From their lordly Maine Coon, Leon, to the playful youngest member of the clan, Mango, they were very cute, very unique, and a joy to be around. We had a fantastic time, and honestly would have stayed there all day if we could! And for someone like me, who would desperately love to have a cat again, but can't right now due to living circumstances, this was a great way to ease the ache of not having a cat around in a long while. A big thank you to the two staff members who made us feel welcome and comfortable, we had a great time and are looking forward to returning in the near future! So TLDR; Pros: The cats are healthy and happy, the staff are knowledgeable and polite, the drink menu is well rounded, the shop is clean and orderly, and the cats are their top priority. Con: We had to leave as the staff actually wanted to go home that evening, lol!

This place is previously Lazy Cat Cafe, but is now called Purrfect Pet Cafe due to an ended franchise agreement. I’ve visited a couple times before, and today the staff informed me that they changed their logo and name, and the prices are lower now!! All the cats are still as cute as ever, and one even hopped onto my lap! I also ordered a slice of the Dubai Chocolate cake and it was so amazing! Super rich chocolate for all us dark chocolate lovers.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a wonderful experience! Me and my sister visited Purrfect Pet Cafe and we absolutely loved it. The place is very clean, cozy, and beautifully set up for the cats. All the cats were so adorable, friendly, and full of personality — we enjoyed every minute with them. A big thank you to Alvin, who made our visit even better. He is so kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable about all the cats. He took the time to introduce us to them, explain their personalities, and make sure we had the best experience. You can really tell he cares about the animals and the guests. We played with the cats, gave them treats, and had such a relaxing, happy time. This is definitely our favourite cat café, and we can’t wait to come back!
